The Kapla family of Sobieski, Wisconsin had humble beginnings in commercial grounds maintenance starting in 1994. Chris Kapla and his father Tom began plowing snow for a family member on nights and weekends as their full-time jobs allowed.
As the years continued and relationships with existing customers grew, in 1998, the duo decided to develop their own business to handle the mounting requests for snow removal services.
Word of the Kaplas' dependability and courteous work ethic began to spread and requests for grounds maintenance support continued to increase. Refusing to sacrifice the quality of work to either long-term or new customers, the Kaplas invested in an extensive line of top-quality snow removal, lawn care, and landscaping equipment in 2013 and launched Above and Beyond of Wisconsin (formerly known as R&R Services).
